HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.
We've just finished celebrating the New year. Started with a group meal at a Mexican restaurant. Into the car park to watch Muz let off. Oh opps. I mean't to say Watch Muz let off Cam's Fire works. A few drinks in the foyer and now it's time for bed.
Boys had a varsity game against the Carolina Titans and won very comfortably.
Off to Charlotte tomorrow for some well earned shopping at Concord Mills and if time permits maybe NASCAR tour.
Talk to you soon.

What day is it?
The weather is great, sunny, a bit nippy but nice. The boys are learning the art of shopping and taking to it like a duck to water. Hoodies and t's were in great demand. Liam's twilight poster is a sensation. Victoria Secret got a work out. Heath found a bargain or 10 and embroidered caps are everywhere. We went to Appelbees for lunch and pasta was the order of the day. We took off for the games and came up against top opposition. We came second by quite a few. The scores really didn't do justice to the performance and effort.
Came back to the motel and the parents had put together a nice meal.
This morning was sleep in morning and the guys took advantage of it. Wake up call was at 9.30 and everyone that was called was woken up. The guys looked like stunned mulletts. We went out for breakfast to Panera bread and a spot more shopping at a sports store. Cheap sports socks were the go.
Back to Applebees for lunch and then of to the stadium for more basketball. We faced more good opposition and again came second. The endeavour by the guys was outstanding. One of the highlights of the trip so far was the game played by KINGA. What a terrific game. This morning the parents drove 2 and a half hours down to Savannah. All that went said they had a terrific time.
All these bloggs are being written at around 12.00 each night so I apologise for not always being on time.
I'll get scores to you and photo's when I find bigger slices of time.
This is the stadium in North Augusta where we played our tournament. Nice venue with a great show court.
Had a ball at a Mexican restaurant. All standing Mitch eat some really hot chilli sauce for a bet. He ate it but boy did he look funny afterwards.
Really getting late now. Like 1.45. Got to go to bed. Just not enough hours in the day. BYE and talk with you soon.

Day two
Woke this morning to a beautiful sunny, brisk day, Snow on the ground, slight breeze. Perfect.
Boys had breaky around 8.30 and we got underway at 10.00.
Thought we had three vans and a car in convoy but the parents bus with Muz driving decided to do their own thing. Only reason for doing this was that Mrs Sullivan forgot her sunnies and they were left behind.
We made the venue in North Augusta by 2.00 for our 3.00 game.
We played Silver Bluff High School Bulldogs in a thriller. We started slowly but by half time we were only down by 1. 27 - 26. A great third quarter saw us up 36 - 40. The final quarter was backwards and forwards with the game going basket for basket. In the final 6 seconds with the scores locked at 54 all one of the officials pulled the biggest home game fouls out of his clacker you've ever seen. Down by one as their guard made his first free throw.
Seriously though, the foul was probably there and they hit the shot. Early missed free throws hurt along with our lack of offensive and defensive boards. The boys to their credit, with limited sleep, average food and lots of driving played well and entertained the large crowd all game.
After many attempts to find somewhere to eat, we found a great little Mexican restaurant. We all enjoyed nice food and lots of fun.
We'll probably do a spot of shopping in the morning and visit Augusta National Golf Course. The home of the USA Masters.
Games tomorrow are about 6.00.
All in all, we've packed a lot into the first two days with all the boys having a good time.
See you tomorrow.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
WOW we finally arrived at our motel after about 18 hours of flying and 8 hours of waiting. We're all fit and well and really looking forward to a good nights sleep.
The boys have been great and have had comments made about their terrific behaviour and manners. So well done parents.
They are all tucked up in bed and probably well and truly asleep by now.
We travel 2.45 hours tomorrow for our first game in the Bi-Lo Holiday tournament.
I'm buggered as it's now 12.15am so I'm off to bed.
I'll have lots of photo's and info including game results and highlights for you tomorrow.
Until then, pleasant dreams.

Six days to go!
With only 6 days to go and being less than adequate with this modern technology stuff, I thought I'd go all out. I bought a new camera and was given this great little Acer Aspire One notebook for Christmas by my family.
I've just installed the software, taken a photo of a chair. Hey it was near me at the time.

And, lets see if my second blog contains a photo of a chair.
